Border Wizard
Border Wizard is a tool for the automatic composition of border designs in rugs and carpets. Collate design elements, set parameters and let Border Wizard do the rest.
Motifs are automatically positioned and repeated within the borders regardless of the X and Y densities - no more time consuming resizing and manipulating of motifs. The Infill, within the borders, fills from the centre to the outside. Any clean up that may be necessary is minimal. Motifs are automatically repeated and perfectly scaled to fit the design. From one set of saved elements you can convert to a runner, rectangle, circular or oval design - in minutes. You work with the total design not a quarter - reduce rework to a minimum.

Import
Import and generate motifs as base elements for automatic composition.
- Open an existing design and copy elements to Mira Clipboard
- Import motifs or border sections via disk, CD-Rom or email
- Create a new design and copy elements to Mira Clipboard for import
- Import saved elements.
- Open and Save complete sets of design elements
Parameter Setting
Set your requirements using a comprehensive range of automatic options.
- The Border Wizard dialogue remains on-screen during design editing
- Drag and Drop motifs from field to field
- Copy and Paste motifs
- A single menu enables fast and effective manipulation of each element
- Up to 16 border fields. Each field constructs a complete border
- Accurate automatic border motif manipulation regardless of relative X and Y densities
- Separate infill field for the centre of the rug with perfect motif scaling
- Automatic fit and rescaling of Infill elements in X and Y directions
- Right click on the Infill field or any of the Borders fields to insert a motif
- Multiple Checkbox options enable automatic motif manipulation
- More than one checkbox may be selected for fine-tuning of parameters
- Define different repeat scaling in X and Y directions
- Preview all or selected borders as required
- Scroll down the Borders fields to move outwards from the rug interior; scroll up the Borders fields to move
- inwards from the outside border
- Activate changes and update the design with one click
- Clear motifs from all fields with one click.
- Fine tune design motif repeats and placement
- Change the scale of a design motif
- Change the colorway of the design accordingly to the separate motifs
